Place for code samples??

George,

I got this idea from another site, but what about an area of the site where we can post code samples to frequently asked questions. For example, alot of people in ASP eventually want to know how to upload files, send emails or something like that... what if there was a place where we could post this stuff (Kinda like a code library or something)

Maybe this question has already been asked, I'm not sure... but I Think it'd be a good idea.. :D

Thanks

~Quack

or maybe een better than that, tutorials on differnt subjects, that would be cool!

Do you mean something like here (http://www.javascriptkit.com/cutpastejava.shtml)...:D j/k, I know what you mean, but there are a lot of good tutorials for frequently encoutered problems at JavaScript Kit. Such as http://www.javascriptkit.com/javatutors/multiplejava.shtml . The trick is to get people, especially new visitors to utilize these resources.

It is an interesting idea you have here. Sort of extended FAQs with full codes for some of the more frequently requested scripts/effects...I dunno, at least your always thinking ;).

oops, sorry :D

I didn't even look there >> But I'm talking about having a library for all types of samples (not just Javascript). You could have them in Subfolders (ASP, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)

Anyways, my idea was just to have a place where users could submit samples of things..

like here: http://www.asp101.com/samples

Just a thought
