Cat Tree Sub-catagories HELP

Can anyone look at the code on this page and tell me why the two (&nbsp) generated by MIVA after the listed sub-cats cause vertical spaces between them?

Thanks,

I couldn't find what you where speaking of. Could you be more specific?   should simply ad a space and not a return or vertical space.

I am sorry. It is the spaces between Knives, Drexter Russell, R. H. Forschner, Gift Knives and Swiss Army in the category tree.

Thanks for looking

I see it now. The first time I visited the page it was not displaying this way. The only thing that I can see that may be causeing it is that the <td> that code is in is set to NOWRAP. You could try to change that and if that does not make a difference you might need to find the area in the miva code that is adding the two ( ). I would imagin they are there to offset the sub catagories but since you do this with in the <a> tag they are not really needed.

I can't see anything else in your code that would affect that. I did do a cut and past of the table the info was in to see how it would react and on viewing it I the same thing did not happen. Granted I did not have your mkLTD.css file linked to my test so it may have something to do with the css. You might check the setting for class unselected in your css file.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. Maybe someone else can see something I missed.

Also the spaces do not show up when viewing via Firefox which could be why I did not see it the first time. I think I was browseing with FF when I looked before. This time I took a look with I.E.

Thanks Shawn,

I believe it is a combination of the .css and the miva generated code but I can't seem to clean it up. Unfortunately the NOWRAP is also generated by miva. This is a compiled version so I can't get it to anything to correct it.

I appreciate you time,
Bruce

Well I found a work-around. I added to the cat tree header and to the footer.

Very clever work-around. I'll have to remember that.
