Secure Admin and lost order after Westhost 2.0 upgrade

Since being upgraded to Webhost 2.0 Miva is not recording ordres. I've received several orders that have been forwarded through email, but when I log in(unsecure) to look at general order info, the order is not listed in the unbatched orders.

If I try and do a secure login to process current orders I get an error of:

Unable to open 'daddysscp/Merchant2/admin.mvc'

Anyone else with this issue. This is absolutely critical to me. I've figured I might have to install Shared SSL on the new account, but when I try that I just get a runtime error.

I did see this issue reported by someone else (the Miva admin problem and the runtime error....) You might try filing a trouble ticket (contact us link at the top of the page) and then post the domain and ticket # to this thread... http://forums.westhost.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=515&start=180

It seems to be relatively closely monitored.

OK, I managed to get Shared SSL installed on my account(had a run-time error the first time), then I updated Miva config to point to the new ssl server e.g. ssl4 , now I get a different error on check out:

Configuration Error: User #myUser# is not authorized to use Miva Script
Please contact the server administrator: postmaster@west-datacenter.net

Anyone got a clue? I've submitted a support inquiry last night but I don't have a ticket # yet. If I can't get this back up today I'm going to need to cancel my account and go elsewhere. I process too much each day to be down.

According to another post - this sounds like it could be a license issue... I'm not certain..I haven't dealt much with Miva.. Read this...

If you are having an issue with your Miva license not being accepted, after the migration to 2.0.

You will need to contact Miva directly at (858)490-2570 to have them reset your miva license#. You have to do this because your Ip address has changed, due to the migration. You'll need to give Miva your new Ip address and license number, they should be able to resolve your issue.

Good luck,

Avery (hoping someone more experienced with MIVA might read and follow up??)

Anyone get anything from Miva? Is this a solution to the problem regarding the unauthorized user?

i just got off the phone with MIVA and they told me that the ISSUE isnt with them and the IP. its a problem with westhost and that they are working as fast as they can to resolve the issue.

i have been waiting 6 days and i havent heard anything from them.

My IP changed but everything seemed to work fine after the SharedSSL install. It's not a live store (aka..live but not linked to the outside) and I haven't tested an order but my errors seemd to have stopped after the SSL install. Is the unauth error coming at the end of the checkout process or when first going to checkout?
