MailScanner

Do you run MailScanner or anything like it? Reason I ask is, I'm about to pull half a dozen sites from another hosting company because I keep not getting the jpegs my clients send me because MailScanner thinks they have viruses!

So a "No" answer would be Good Thing(TM) here. I do not want important attachments from clients stripped out of my e-mails, ever.

To put it another way, Westhost provide you with a site and server software, how you configure it and use it is up to you.
Although the default configuration works for most people, so you don't need to do anything.

Thanks for the response, guys. The more I investigate, the more I like what WestHost offers.

When I left my job last year, I went from managing a dedicated server for a major company to running little client sites on shared hosting, and it's been a real adjustment. I'm thinking it's time to move to a VPS where I'll have at least some of the control I used to have.
