Browser Compatability

I can not log into this forum with Mozilla Firefox 0.8 (Firebird renamed).
IE is fine, Firebird 0.7 was fine, and other phpBB's are fine.
I tryed Firefoxes "user agent switcher" extension to spoof IE6, but it didnt make any difference.

When I click the log in button nothing happens.

Any idea why?

I'm using Firefox, no problem-o.
No spoofing.

Doesn't help you I know, but just to let you know that Firefox works.

It works for me too. In fact, I'm using it to post this message.

Do you have cookies enabled? I believe this forum needs them.

Using: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040219 Firefox/0.8.0+ (scragz) I have no problems whatsoever. I do find, however, that sometimes some links don't work (on any web site, not just this one). By "don't work" I mean clicking them does nothing (and, yes, I am sure that the links in question are supposed to do something). I find reloading the page helps. It is quite annoying though!

I still cant log in with Firefox.
Cookies are enabled and I have two cookies for this forum. I tried clearing the westhost cookies, restarting the browser, and logging in. Still cant log in. The log in button does nothing.
I tried disabling all of my extensions, restarting the browser, and logging in. Still cant log in.
Tried reloading the page (several times), still cant log in.

I visit several forums and this is the only one that does this. There are some similer reports on Bugzilla about people not being able to log into other sites.

Maybe with Firefox, I have to "think in Russian"....
:?

Update- I just cleared ALL cookies and the cache, and restarted the browser. Now, I can not log into ANY forum. Cookies are enabled.
Guess I'm going back to Firebird 0.7.

What do you mean you have to "think in Russian"...

It refers to the movie Firefox, where the pilot of a Russian plane had to speak in Russian in order to control the plan. So it was better to be able to think in Russian.

Check out http://thinkinrussian.org/ for more on the movie.

Ah!

I was also wondering...
