Php Session Variables

Since going to Westhost 2.0, after figuring out how to connect to the mysql database, session variables are not getting set. Variables which should be global and available on other pages are not available. I have tried several methods, none of which work. The last time I had this problem it turned out that one of the email accounts had exceeded their disk quota and believe it or not that was causing the problem. I do have an account which exceeded their disk quota and it has been taken care but the problem still exisits. How can this issue be resolved?

Have you put up a phpinfo file to see what the settings are on PHP sessions?

Yes, I have checked all the settings, they are as they were. I cannot find a reason for it not working.

I went through the whole routine last time this happened, having to prove that it wasn't a problem with the php program. Like I said it ended up being an email account which had exceeded it's disk quota.

But with Westhost's blazing response to urgent messages I could probably move the site to a new host before they address the problem.
