sort of member list

can we get a sort of Reputation Power in the member list? I believe it's a custom hack so it might be more trouble then it's worth, if so you can ignor this.

btw SEO chat really liks to give you suggestions, we here are quite content :)

I wanted to be able to sort by rep power but it was super labor intensive. If you find a hack for it or a simple solution then Im all ears.

What we were running into is that the Rep Power is not stored in a DB its calculated on the fly, and this no easy way to sort by.

yep I thought so :), never mind then I know that something like that can be a pain to implement

Would it not be possible to run a script every hour or so on a
cron that would calc the users rep power, and store it in the
user db, then display that number in the members.php page.
I realise there might be some inaccuracies every now and then
when peoples power changes during the hour, but it will even
itself out when the cron runs... Dunno how much work that'd
be though...

think about how many users we have here, that would be very resource intensive not only to create but to run each hour.

isn't it resource intensive then if I select the members list all the time? it is being practically spidered 24/7 no? No cron per hour then, perhaps daily updates?
