Are you ready for a battle? Rackspace, the world’s leading specialist in the hosting and cloud computing industry, has kicked off their SXSW Interactive King of the Apps contest, an ongoing contest targeted towards developers and startups to build applications using the Rackspace Cloud Files API.
The top two finalists will have a chance to battle it out – live! – at SXSW. The triumphant winner will take home $10,000 in prizes, including $5,000 in cash!
Do you have what it takes? Are you ready to showcase, triumph and defend your crown? Then step up and submit an application, to be evaluated by a panel of 5 judges made up of both tech-reporters and tech-lebritites, including Stacey Higginbotham or GigaOm, Dave McClure of 500 Startups, and Eric Reis creator of the Lean Startup methodology, and Rackers Robert Scoble and Bill Boeble.
