Changing password??

Is it possible to change my account manager password?

I am not comfortable using the password I was assigned when I opened my account, because someone else chose it and it was sent through email, and this is not very secure. However, there does not appear to be any way to change the password.

I changed my Site Manager password, but this did not change the Account Manager password, so I am stumped.

Hello Fair,

If you go into your Site manager and then Site Management then Site Parameters. From there you are going to be allowed to change your password. Let us know if we can help further.

I want to change my site manager password. I found the spot in Site Manager to do that.

When I read the fine print under the help button, the contents say:

Enter New Password: Changes your password to access your Site Manager. This password applies to several other areas including the File Manager. If you use a default login of your Site Manager username and password, then changing this password will affect those as well.

I would like to know what those "several other areas" are before I do this. Will this impact the database password?

thanks,

No it should not affect your database password. Those are in your mysql database itself and what this does is change the password for programs protected by .htaccess that WH provides. Off the top of my head WebPassword, Wbalizer, Wusage, File Manager, Apache Error Messages and PhpMyAdmin. To change the password for Mysql you do it with the edit link under Site Applications>Database.
