How to restart Apache through SSH

Hi.
I want to know how I can restart apache through SSH.I was told by WestHost support to SSH to the server with my username and password and type 'apachctl graceful'.I'm using Putty to SSH to the server, andI've tried it a lot of times but it always says "sh: apachctl: command not found".I've typed 'mydomain.com' as the host name in Putty, and chosen port 22, and SSH.And used the same username and password that I use to ftp to my account.Although i was granted access,I cant seem to restart apache. What am I doing wrong?

Should be apachectl - you're missing the e.

Or you could just type restart and press enter.

thx,it worked :D
