First of all let me say that I have never developed for the BlackBerry or used much Java at all. What I normally program in is C# and ASP.NET. Recently, I decided to venture into trying to learn to develop for the BlackBerry, and somewhere on this forum I saw that the BlackBerry JDE was the recommended development environment. However, when I looked on the BlackBerry Developers Zone website I saw that they seamed to prefer the Eclipse plugin for Java Development over the Legacy BlackBerry JDE. Never having used Eclipse to program before, which would be the better way to start out, Eclipse with the plugin or the BlackBerry JDE? :confused:
