You contradict yourself:
No-one could guarantee you this, let alone for $200
Not to mention:
And of course theres this:
So you need someone who:
1. Has skype and is willing to call you every day with updates (presumably at no extra cost)
2. Can get the job done and test on every possible linux and windows server and configuration at short notice
3. Not take any deposit up-front
4. Have no problem with getting only $200 for something you're planning to sell commercially
Sure, you're not at all picky.
Hmm, well the coder headphones didnt work, so we were unable to chat on skype, but we still messaged each other live on there that day.
Secondly, both parties have skype, they can call each other free from anywhere in the world?, So, i dont understand what you mean at no extra cost, makes zero sense to me.
My coder was actually not happy at me because i wasnt avilable on skype because im taking sumer courses at my university and they have a firewall to block im applications, so maybe everyne has their own perfernces.
I will admit fault to that as i meant that once they are chosen for the job we will need to chat on skype about what the plan is, and from there they can do their own thing as long as they send daily updates.
What you are failing to understand is I DO NOT expect anyone to work on a project for 10 days, what i expect is for them to set their OWN SCHEDULE and get the project done in that time frame.
A ten day deadline doesnt mean that the coder works on the job for ten days. I want to work with idnivduals not teams, and understand that people have a social life and that they may have date sets for other events in their life.
OR, they may be working on other coding projects as well because i know thats how it works from experience. So, thats why i set it for that time frame, i allow a lot of extra time.
Secondly, isnt testing a script a part of being a coder? If you think that is being too picky then i would recommend finding another hobby. If it works with phplist then it should meet those requiierments anyhow, but software and scripts can have bugs at times.
Third, do you expect to go into a job, and get paid upfront without doing any work? In most countries, no. I already stated i gave the coder half of the payment even when i havent received anything that i could use, and im still being picky? WOW.
I was just thinking about for future projects on how i can reduce the risk on borth parties side as im a trusted buyer with PERFECT feedback on a respected freelance sites.
Also, jsut because im going to sell it commerically doenst mean i will make any money. Im just a college studnet doing this on the side. Im not a big company, or anything like that, and selling scripts and software online requires an advertiisng/marketing budget and lots of time.
If it is so easy then every coder would be an online entrepenur, it is not easy at all, and if you think so, you try it and tell me how much you made back from your time and investment.
Last, if you have any suggestions to add about reducing risk management on both party sides like _Aerospace_Eng_ did then feel free to do so, other how, you are just cluttering up my thread with your off tangent opinions and taking it off the core topic.
