I am looking for someone to write a utility that can rename postscript files on a Macintosh. Here are the details.
After a user fills out the print dialog box and presses print, a dialog box would pop up with a field to enter a new name for the postscript file. Upon entering the text you press the print button and the file goes on to the printer with a new name. It would be great if the previously used postscript name would be the default entry for the renaming field in case you want to rename multiple postscript files the same thing.
There was a utility called SRU renamer that was created by Scitex that did just this back in the 90's. It was never ported over to Mac OSX.
