I need some feedback

My web-site has three different entrances. One for IE5+, another for NS6+, and another for everyone else. I perform some browser sniffing in my index page and determine the one you'll goto when you click the 'enter' button. Instead of basing the destination on the name of the browser or the version like everyone else does I'm just figuring if the browser knows what getElementById is then you're IE5+ if document.all is known or NS6+ if not. Also I screen out NS4+ by making sure the browser doesn't know what document.layers is. I don't really know if this is adequate. I only have IE6 and NS7.1 . I need people who aren't using those versions to goto my web-site http://www.sanjuanpersonals.com and tell me what they're experience was. Please no browsers older than about 5 years and they must support style sheets. I'm not looking for critique on the pages themselves. I'm a novice HTML person, but a veteren Perl programmer and that's where it is at.
