Wanted: Halo for XBOX...

I just got an Xbox and I want to pick up the game Halo. Does anyone here have a copy for sell or any suggestions where I could pick up a cheap copy of it (and any other cool Xbox game)?

Geez, no replies to this? Does anyone have a source for this?

Have you tried ebay (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2 F&MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&query=halo&categoryid=&ht=1&st=2&category3=27183&SortProperty=MetaEndSort&BasicSearch=&from=R2&catref=C3)?

Yeah, the problem with ebay is that all their used copies cost about 5 dollars less (after shipping) than if I bought it new. There has to be a good source for something as popular as Halo...

Ebay is kinda like that sometimes, I often wonder if bidders actually go and look at walmart and see that what they are bidding on is cheaper at walmart then on ebay when you count in all the shipping costs. Also, most sellers really gouge you for shipping costs.

I think people just get wrapped up in the competition and keep bidding. I see some crazy stuff go for a pant load...

Have you tried to find a game store in your area that sells used games? Not sure where you live and what is available. In my area there is one fanchise called "GAME SPOT". There are also some mom and pop companies. BlockBuster sells their used games also. I think they are pretty much everywhere.

Their prices can still be a bit high but atleast you wouldn't have the shipping and handleing charges.

Have to remember that Halo is still a pretty popular game.

yeah, maybe when Halo 2 comes out, the first one will go way down in price. Maybe I will just have to wait (but I check those rental stores in the mean time, I never thought of that).

umm... can I mention this here... er... have you tried getting a booted version, and then "modding" your xbox?

Yes of course you can mention such a thing. Just as I can mention that the above act is considered stealing. :D No I am not getting on my high horse but do think that it should be called what it is.

Ebay is definitely a sellers marketplace. I rarely find better deals that what some good searching on deal sites and froogle.com can produce.

Speaking of pirated software, I purchased a couple of software titles from an eBAY seller that had good positive feedback selling software in the past. Turns out the software he sent me was just copied onto a cd, and labeled with a color copy of the original. He made no mention of the fact that it was pirated.
