Bit Torrent Files

Does anybody think WestHost would mind if I seeded a Torrent file on my hosting account? I know there would be bandwith issue but I think it would be cool to get WestHost part of the Bit Torrent Community.

I'm going to guess and say it's probably not allowed (I don't know too many hosts that would let you do that). Does anyone else out there know for sure? Has anyone done this?

As long as it is non-copyrighted material, I do not see a problem with this, the same as any file distribution method you may use on your site. If you are the copyright holder, go ahead, as far as I understand, a server of bittorrent files incurs relatively little bandwidth as compared to the actual seeders/leechers of said files. WestHost does reserve the right the refuse this type of service in the future, but as it has not been a problem up to now, it will probably be ok.
