I'm transferring a domain from another registrar. The DNS entries correctly point to Westhost. The domain is already setup with an account but when I try to access file manager either through domain.com/fm or through the reseller account manager I get "Not Authorized to View This Page." Any thoughts or ideas??? My customer is currently down.

Of course domain.com/fm is the file manager - are you trying to access the site manager? www.domain.com/manager

Thanks, Avery! This got me in! Now I just have figure out why I can't FTP my files from my PC and get the site back up ....
I know some people were having trouble with the location (directory) for some ftp programs - are you able to connect via ftp at all?

i can connect to my own site but not to the one where the domain is still with another registrar but pointing to Westhost
If you're just pointing towards the IP at the other registrar, you will need to adjust that to the new ip.
I would think one thing you might do to find the ip for the other site (if you haven't got the confirmation email) is ssh to the site you can access and then ping othersitename.com - their internal dns seems to be all set for the new vds's. That should give you the IP you'll need to setup the other registrar's info....

if on the other hand you are using westhost dns servers, you miight file a ticket and or add a post in the westhost 2.0 general area in one of the more watched threads.

thanks, avery! this happened the last time when i transferred my own domain over. i couldn't access the files until the transfer was complete. doesn't make sense to me but i'll put in another posting in the 2.0 group. thanks!
