But I can't find the file nor can I find any documentation on the format of the file.

Goldsmith I answered your other post before reading this one. Looks like you are on 2.0 so you should be able to use your Site Manager to control the Aliases and redirects.

You can create an aliase and redirect it to wherever you want to.

The 2.0 system does not use the redirect file like 1.0 did.
