Common server directory

Is there any means to declare a common directory in each of the sites on a dedicated server? I am looking for something like /srv that would exist in each of the environments with common contents.

Our dedicated server is managed as a reseller, but is really a departmental machine for a single organization. i.e. each of the sites represents a department or project that provides content to the web.

The only way I am aware of is by buying another drive for the server. When I bought my extra drive, they mounted it under /driveb on all of my accounts, I do not use it that much as it could be a security risk, someone gets in one of my accounts and bam they have access to all of that. You may want to contact the Westhost technical support, they would have more information if this is possible. You might even have to escalate it to the Admininstrators, the Technical support staff does not appear to have root privileges (as I had a root owned file that was not supposed to be, the rep in Tech Support had to contact an administrator.

Thanks, that is probably worth a try. All our servers are ultimately in the same security environment. We have the isolation for versioning and performance reasons.
