Well... I have a question, with a comment

On the top menu, when you mouse over an image, all kinds of other options come available below - are these going to be links as well? If so, I would suggest (Yes, I know it's overused) a drop down menu - it's a lot nicer for navagability (is that a word??) and is more straight forward.

If you don't want to write your own, there are several free menus available out there that you can customize to your liking...

take a look at the menus on DynamicDrive.com

ive done ddmenus till my eyes bleed :) problem is our print/dtp guy here has more swing with the directors - so he overrides me :( and my boss is bored of DD menus too!

thing is that this is quite a quick, no fuss was of navigating - i will also incorporate cookies so that u can always see what page you are on - like the right menu options are lit

Ok, yeah - if your boss doesn't like em, then you gotta respect that opinion (considering, your boss probably has his name on your paychecks ;))

As another suggestion then, how bout sliding the menus in from the side - just to draw more attention to them?

~Quack

@ justa (didnt see yours 1st time :()

erm - the guy who wrote is is the CEO of our company, a multimillionairre who is also met the queen and got some awards - im not correcting his english! :)

the body of the document is not finished either...

the code is FAR from NS4 ready - and will prolly only be made functional - im sick of workaround for that browser :)

floating an image? is there a way to do it in NS4? i know how do do it in CSS but NS screws it up :(

i was thinking of some dhtml for the menus but i kinda like the way the swap on the main mouseovers

Yeah, like I said - it's a really nice site....

It just might help to draw a little more attention to the menus - some users might get lots with all the buttons... you could try using different colors, animated images, etc.

Just beware of making it cheesy ;)

Let me know how it goes - so far, it looks great though!

~Quack

OH wait, I'm sorry - I just looked at the site again - it took a while to load all the images, so when I was mousing over them, they didn't do anything

disregard my previous suggestions ;)

The site looks great!!!

BTW - I really like the top images, and the fixed background image looks awesome!

~Quack:thumbsup:

Hmmm, loads slowly, the menu items look weird; the text on the buttons looks funny at my resolution (1280*960) the buttons also look huddled together too much too... :)
The main text is fine, good colour, font and size.

Looks *very* nice in Mozilla 1.0 :)

Though the mouseover images are very slow on my dialup... and they stay slow even after downloading them once... :(

the mouseovers are prolly slow as the dreamweaver rollovers arent that good... im gonna build the whole thing as a much faster array at a later date and not use the DW rollovers - this was simply something that i rushed together yesterday afternoon
