Webpage Layout Help, please help someone

Please can someone help me, I have just set up this website and noticed that it is fine on a 800x600 resolution, which I designed it on, but when viewed in 1024x768 it is all overlapping !! I have checked other sites at random and they automatically change to the correct size ! How can I ammend my site to be viewed perfectly on both foramts, not too woried about any other than these two. Someone mentioned CSS ? but im kind of new to this stuff !! If anyone can help, please email me direct... Thank you all in advance, I have been reading through the forums and it is nice to see so many people helping each other ! Keep up the good work everyone !! ;)

It is made up using layers and to be viewed on 800x600. Hope you can help.

Have just been on www.afpsupport.r8.org which I think is your site ?? Any that had a message come up saying it was testing and configuring to my browser type etc.

Many thanks in advance.......Look forward to hearing from you...

There's no easy way to reconfigure your website, it looks too far gone; IMO a redesign is needed just to sort out the layers :)
Your site is also incompatible with anything but IE.

www.afpsupport.r8.org only tests and configures itself to browser type, as at the moment I am using elements only Internet Explorer can understand (Ironic really, as I browse with firefox... ah well).

Try using set sizes for your layers rather than telling them to occupy 20% of the screen or other values, that way when the window is resized, the layers don't change shape too drastically.
