I want to sell business cards on my site. I want visitors to be able to edit out of about 20 different business cards. I plan on keeping it as simple as possible. I am only using black for the text and giving 6-8 different font choices. Out of the 20 different templates I will have my own backgrounds and would like to give some choices to about 15-20 images (gif.) I am not sure the easiest way to have them edit the cards and then to post them to me so I can print them up and mail them out. I am thinking that java would be the way I should go... I am very undeveloped in this area but very willing to learn. The most I have done so far is learn how to set up click and drag images. Can anyone help? Thanks for your time;

Build a form to collect the data.
Use CGI or asp to post the data by email to you.
Ensure if using an asp form that your web host supports asp.
Same goes for CGI. Make sure its supported.
Your web host should support you with setting up a form that uses CGI if they support CGI. Call them.

So far all I got for a reply was what I intend to do,,, no one has told me how to do it yet. Yes, I am making it as easy for the user as possible to edit business cards on my site. I realize I will need server for data.... the question is how do I set my site up so that I can receive what my customers have edited...??? I know how to set it up so they can edit it but when I use forms I only get text for the feed back... I want to receive images as they get set up by the visitor. Do I use CGI for this? and if so how do I set it up...???
