I'm sure many have come across the annoying timeout's that phpMyAdmin give's when trying to import a large SQL dump, and you think all hope is lost when your trying to restore for example your forum database.

One alternative is Telnet/SSH/Shell, however not all hosts give users access to use this tool for numerous security reasons, so what can you do?

Unlike phpMyAdmin, which tries to import everything at once (eat the pizza in one), this script will execute parts of the dump and then move onto the next part (eating one slice at a time), untill the script has fully completed.

I personally have used this script recently when moving servers, no data was lost, and no timeouts were given. I recommend it to those who need something to import large database dumps, it did the job for me :)
