Registry file missing/corrupt

I'm using apps that require C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\~fjlc24.reg

Error: Missing or corrupt

Fix?

Thanks

What application is requesting the missing or corrupt file?

The entry is in my registry here:

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3168066103-689911805-402408052-1007\Software\Google\NavClient\1.1\History

Well, just about every app from Gnucleus...I've noticed some porn links added to my task bar and desktop since d/l'ing Gnucleus...I got rid of 'em and haven't seen the error on startup like I usually do.

Maybe it's fixed.

Let me open an app...

Hmm...Wait a second...

Now, it's saying C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\~1e0mc24.reg is messed up...

It's creating temp reg files that it can't open.

I don't know if it's Gnucleus or what...

What version of Windows are you running? Try going to start -> Run - > regedit + ok. Once in your registry editor click edit -> find and type in "fjlc24.reg" . Odds are you will find it. Be careful not to make any changes while in the registry editor, but take note of where you find it. I think you can right click on the entry and, essentially, copy the path to the clipboard. If you found it, where did you find it?

It seems odd that the App is looking in TEMP folder for these files  .
