this will require that you enter a reason when giving reputation. just upload and activate the plugin.

I like this idea, but it just redirects to an error page causing the member to close the window and click the reputation icon a second time. I saw a plugin (extention, hack, code mod...) that added AJAX to the registration page to tell them if a username was in use, I'm sure adding that functionality to this would be a little easier to add than that was.
I think this will be standard in the next version, so not planning to spend much time on this

btw, all errors in the reputation window work like that. if you cant rate a person because you need to give reputation to others first, an identical layout for the error will be used. id suggest you give your feedback about this at vb.com
