:nervous: I am trying to install the latest vbArticles on my forum. I had previously installed version 1.01. I totally cleared my database up foolishly deleting all articles tables.
I keep gettin sql errors when trying to install it because of the previous versions and i can't remove the parts which have been modded in the database because i dont know how. Can someone give me some queries to run on the database to remove all parts of version 1.01 . The queries should only be to remove parts which can't be manually dropped ie table. I have removed all the tables which were VB default so please provide me with the queries to remove parts which have been modded into the database.
I would so grateful please anyone?
So basically you had previously removed ALL VB tables ?
And you say you cleared up your database by deleting ALL ARTICLES TABLES as well ?
If so, everything should have been cleared, no ?
Please confirm if I understood your situation :)
You need to delete phrases and fields in the settings and usergroup tables as well I believe
He did mention removing ALL VB tables, so basically everything would have been wiped clean. ;)
Hey, thanks for answering. I have kept all vb tables so i could keep the users etc
- i have deleted everything except the basic vb tables that was listed to me by steve machol
- that includes all articles tables.
- i get an error(db) when trying to install vb articles and unistall it?
- can you give me a list of queries to remove all the modded parts of the database of normal tables ( does not include the removing of other tables as they have already been dropped). This way i can start a fresh install of the vb articles.
Thanks for your help :smoke:
