sorry,i haven`t upload it to my board.
maybe someone post a board with this style on?:p

i forgot to add some link in the postbit

so here`s the text file of the posbit

I just thought i'd let you know that you have some varible in your postbit that arent standard in vB, such as $post[firstnewinsert] and $post[backcolor]

I have never come accross these before so I am guessing they are varibles for hacks :)
You might want to remove them;)

hmmm I think it's a default postbit from vB (look at the code, from default vB postbit).

anyway, thx for the attention :) ;)

Ahh yes, my fault, I know what they do now - Thanks
:embarrased:

Maybe you should make a more lite style? This one is something in between and doen't know is it good or is it bad. Like the postbit.

thank u very much

I really like that, very well done. I have sat in front of my PC for hours piddlin, drawn stuff on paper and recreated on screen, but haven't been able to come up with anything I like. I'm creatively challenged, lol. Very well done though.

looks really nice man.. just what i need.. but how do i install it?

open the zip file and then upload images. after that go to your admin cp, choose the "Upload/Download style" option and then use the upload option . browse your comp. for .style file and upload it. for more information, please take a look at Tony's thread about installing style on this forum.

have it installed on my board - http://clanantivirus.net/forums/
There are a couple of things I don't like about it such as "edit" "reply" buttons being missing.....Hmmm

Looks sweet man!, Good job on the theme.

I noticed this also. It's just a matter of adding the default code for the buttons to the postbit template. The images are in the package.

Also, this may be obvious to most people, but for the VB newbies like me, you can upload the entire evolution folder into your images directory and then change the paths through the admin CP to avoid any conflict with the default images.

One thing I can't figure out though is how to make the forum jump etc. box at the bottom of the forum display pages expand to 100% width.

The edit button isn't showing up. Although it's in the images folder with all the rest. what gives?

do you all download the fix here?
http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mods/showpost.php?postid=25166&postcount=17

How is the fix applied?

Most likely replace the content of your postbit with that file.

Most likely replace the content of your postbit with that file.

And how exactly is that done? For the less fortunate, such as me.

Go to your Admin CP - Scroll down to 'Templates' - Click 'Modify Templates'

Click 'Show all' on the new page and then scroll down to where the template start with P to find Postbit.

Then, replace all the code in the postbit template with what is supplied in the attached file.

That file didn't work for me.

Here is what I did:

in the postbit template,

After

<smallfont>$post[profile] $post[pmlink] $post[useremail] $post[homepage] $post[buddy]

Add

<a href="editpost.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=editpost&postid=$post[postid]"><img src="{imagesfolder}/edit.gif" border="0" alt="Edit/Delete Message"></a>

Either way, if it worked then good.

Cool. Thanks everyone. :)

thanks for the awesome style. i'm still quite new to vB and this was my first imported style. i use vB home as well, and only had to make a few minor modifications to get it all set up. nice work. :D

I too love this style I just added it to our site :) it rocks...

thanks for such a awsome free style...

Nice..sweet.. style, good job omega buster :D, I liked the 'X' image that indicate new posts

Great Style!

I have added this to my board and I think it is going to be my default.

Thank you! :)

my bad, wrong forum I'm posting this in.

Wow, do I ever love that... I'm downloading it right now and putting it on my board.

I love you. :)

I am missing the quote button, so I edited the template to add the Quote button but when I click quote it doesn't quote.

This is what I added
<a href="newreply.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=newreply&postid=$post[postid]"><img src="{imagesfolder}/quote.gif" border="0" alt="Reply w/Quote"></a>
</smallfont></td>

Any Ideas how to get it working, I am stumped.
Thought I was doing good until I tried to quote someone :(

My bad, I didn't see it by the user name to the left :p

yes, i put the quote and edit link on the left cell under the avatar

The quote button doesn't work all i get at the top is "Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_STRING' or `T_VARIABLE' or `T_NUM_STRING' in /home/sitename/public_html/forum/newreply.php(47) : eval()'d code on line 1"

The skin looks really nice, although I would like to ask, would it be ok to alter the colours a bit to match my site a bit better?

that's weird...maybe you can try to re-install it.
i'll check it tonight...

yes, you can change all the colours to match your site :D

what font are the buttons? there's no .PSD for the buttons, so i can't add them for the users that use this style.

i needs a advertisements button and a news button (if you feel so inclined)... it's for www.clubprotege.com

Looks very nice, I will install asap!

Yes I was wondering what the fonts were as well.

Umm... yeah, the creator of this style is a friend of mine and really he's been rarely online..

I'll try to ask him if he's gonna port it to vb3 or not. :) His nickname is EX. (not in this vb community)

everyone are more than welcome to convert this style to vb3 port. :) you don't need any permissions from me.

There you go. First one to do it for me and I'll pay them $50 dollars via Paypal. I am already running this on 2.3.5 and I want to upgrade to 3.03.

mdwertz@bellsouth.net

Kurrupt Zip file everytime i try to download
