Important information regarding support - 20/04/06
Due to time constraints and the amount of things that are being planned for future modifications, priority support will now be provided here (http://www.peterska2.co.uk/showthread.php?t=19204). Support provided in this thread will be on an as and when basis.

I would suggest if you use this that you edit the phrase:
You may upload a new custom image using the controls below. Either enter the URL to the image you wish to use, or use the upload control to upload an image directly from your own computer.
may_upload_custom_image or may_upload_custom_image_controls

Hey...what do ya know I was looking for this lol. I had to modify it a bit but I got it the way I like.

ooops forgot about that phrase. First post updated. I'll update the file later.

I'm confused... Why would you let them upload from a web site, and not their PC? I don't get it.

I could easily FTP an image from my machine to a web site and add it that way.

It was a request, so I made it.

I'm not using it myself as I have no need for it.

I guess there was a reason for the request, I just didn't ask what it was.

Cause you might not like to use your bandwidth. I was hoping this method would prevent that. I see it doesn't. :ermm:

Nope, it doesn't. vBulletin doesn't allow you to specify an external avatar by default. (There may be a hack for it.) Even using the web link, it's still uploaded to your server.

Oh well I was hoping for this method to help. Thanks anyway.

Thanks.
