hi I am looking for a tutorial of Java for people who already know JavaScript pretty well. The tutorials Ive found start from square one, and teach all the basic basic consepts. If I had lots and lots of patience Id just go through it all, but Im lazy and dont want to re learn half the stuff. So If there was a tutorial thats based on the pre existing knoledge of javascript, things would go alot faster and be easier to learn. Do any of you here know of such a a thing.

I know some Java, but I don't use it enough to keep myself well-versed in it (always programming in VB, VB.NET). Whenever I want to know something about Java I go to DevX (http://www.devx.com/).

As much as I hate to say it, JavaScript and Java are quite different. I struggled with Java for a while, then it was though my eyes were opened and I suddenly understood. I programmed with C++ in college, and that helped.
