Book Recommendation for ASP.Net / Studio.Net 2003

Hello All,
I'm just beginning to work w/ Visual Studio.Net 2003 to create interactive web pages. I have decent HTML knowledge and I've already purchased a VB.Net book (SAM's VB.Net in 24 hrs) to learn the scripting language. Does anyone have a recommendation for a nice beginner's book on how to create ASP.Net applications using Visual Studio.Net? My primary goal is to create a web based form that will connect to a database to save the submitted input. Thanks!

Here are some :

Thanks for all of the info, Iota. I appreciate it. I'll do some research on the books and hopefully find one or two to order. Thanks again.

Don't look at the title, it's as professional as hello world.
It features step by step explanations on how to add a text box to a form and full code listings with win/web form designer generated code.

It covers all areas like creating a simple web page, a simple web service, a simple this and a simple that.

Perfect choice for a novice i suppose.
