I am selling my website, so I will cut to the chase and tell you about it.

Income: Roughly £80 (GBP) per month, based on average of donations and advertising space. Donations are the main source of income though, and they can fluctuate a lot, some months you get a lot, others bugger all.
Expenses: The server it is on at the moment is £62 per month. You are of course free to find a different one though. It would probably be easier than trying to transfer ownership as in my experience that's a major hassle.

Some more Info:
The website has just over 1000 accounts, of which about 120-130 are active each day. The game is a fantasy RPG with skills like fishing, woodcutting, mining, combat, etc.... It uses a timer/energy system for play.
The whole game is custom made, down to the last detail, it does not use any game engines/templates, etc...
The game consists of over 600 items (All with images), 50+ locations [4+ Islands/Continents] (Each with custom made maps), lots of monsters to fight, several quests to do, etc...
There is a custom made forum and a chat room with several different channels.
Admin/Mod tools to punish rule breakers, add events, etc... + A custom made support ticket system.
It launched in April of 2009. The reason it doesn't have many registered accounts (Just over 1000) is that I have barely done any advertising, just added it to a few top list sites and done a few banners on Project Wonderful. Most of the current members came from another community I was part of, but it could easily be expanded beyond that if you advertise more.
Break Down of Asking price:
- It has taken me hundreds and hundreds of hours to code over about a year or so since I started making it, so lots of man hours.
- Lots of custom made features such as forum, chat room, message system, ticket support, etc...
- 80+ tables in the Database, all fully populated. (By that I mean you won't need to alter anything in it to make it work, it's all there)
- Unlike lots of games that are being sold, this is fully made. It is fully playable, so you're not buying something you’d still have to work on for weeks to get working. Although obviously you will have to change some bits and bobs, especially if you get a new server for it, but nothing major. The only major aspect that hasn't been coded and that you would have to do yourself if you want it, is PvP. (Player Vs Player Combat).
Reason for selling: I am a poor student and I can no longer a) afford to maintain it [donations help but I have still spent quite a bit of my own money running it up till now] and b) afford to spend so much time on it, as I have a life and have lots of other things going on as well.
I would prefer to sell to a company who run online browser games, as they would know what they are doing, but anyone who has a knowledge of php, javascript [ajax], etc... is welcome to make a bid. Although I would like to speak with them first and assess their level of knowledge (Not that I'm an expert by any means, something you would quickly discover upon viewing the source code :-P), as I have spent a lot of time and money making this site and I don't want to hand it over to the wrong person who would ruin it.
I am not in a major rush to sell, so I will take my time and make sure it is to the right person(s), so if you're wanting a quick purchase, this is unlikely to be it.
