Is there ANYONE that won't charge to install this? I just recently moved my site from a shared server to a dedicated server. I had GD installed on the shared server and only paid $100 a year for the hosting. My site started growing and my max connections was set at 100 connections total. It couldn't be changed. So they talked me into upgrading to dedicated hosting for $128 a month. They failed to mention that I would have to pay $75 an hour for them to install things I have no clue about. I don't know about anyone else, but I feel this is a ripoff.
I may do it what is the OS.

Do you have many live sites on this server? It will be down for a small amount of time to install gd and recompile php.
I have 1 live site and one I'm currently working on that is down for registration. About how long would you think?
