How would I go about removing some of the links in the 2nd Navbar, they are surplus to the requirements imo? I am looking to remove these

Also I would like edit the Notifications link to be called Private Messages and possibly move the Calendar and FAQ to the main Navbar that contains Home & Forums etc.

I'm guessing it's in the navbar template.
Find the template and then modify it how you want.
To find the template to modify, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source.
