If I type in a url it seem to display bbcode with the url. For example if i put https://www.google.com/
I would get URL bb code wrapped around the url.
Is there any way to make it act like a normal link?

Try to rephrase your question - I don't understand. Of course the editor wraps bb-code around the link - else it would not show up as a link at all. So what exactly is your issue? What is a "normal link" for you?

My problem is rendered text contains the url wrapped within URL bb code, and its not clickable. Hope this makes sense.

I don't see that button. Its vbulletin 5 btw.
We have a stable version, yet this issue isnt resolved.
