How to delete a page?!?

Hi,

how can I delete a page?
I have created a "testsite" named "helloworld" over the "new Page" button in vb5 sitebuilder. But how can I delete the page now? I don't want and need it anymore!

Greetings
Sehales

You cannot currently delete a page. You may remove the navtab by going to Site Builder > Navigation Bar and deleting it.

Okay, that sounds crazy for me... will this be implemented in the next release? Is there another way to remove the page, for example over MySQL or just remond a file?

There is a bug in Jira regarding it. I do not know the status but you can look it up and see.

I know this is an old thread, but is this still not available?

Same as plumwd here!

I found #VBV-4627 (http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-4627) in tracker, which was created by Andy on 18/Sep/12. Currently considered Major Priority but yet Unassigned. I've voted for it in the hope to move this issue along the priority list.

Still not fixed. I mean... seriously?! This is not beta anymore. I understand that features might be missing in new product, but not fixing issue like this reported year and a half ago? Come on...

Is it at least safe to delete the page from "page" table in the DB? Or are there some dependencies and we should not go for that?

So, is there a way to delete pages now? I am getting crazy over this stuff (since sub-forum links now direkts to pages instead of the subforums) ...

Yes you can delete custom pages. Per the JIRA you could delete custom pages since VB 5.1.3.

Simply browse to the page you want to delete, choose Edit Page in Site Builder, and at the top right next to Save Page and Exit Without Saving will be a third Delete Page option. The Delete Page icon will not show on default pages.
