Turn this eBay spammer in?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5721967053&fromMakeTrack=true

With any luck, perhaps this item is already not viewable. It was turned-in to eBay for violating its "keyword spamming" rule. (Check out all the white text at the bottom of the auction.) But when you right-click, it's even MORE infuriating to see that someone is trying to sell script that they themselves got for free right here. (Which, of course, I found that out easily by checking the "view source" option. Duh.)

So, should I just send an email to the Webmaster at Dynamic Drive? That was the only email address I saw at "contact us."

This is something only eBay can resolve, as the violater isn't selling one of our scripts, simply using it. If he/she were selling our scripts, then it would be illegal from a copyright standpoint, and we will contact them. However, the item on sale as you can see is a Motorola Scanner. Spamming the page with keywords certainly is immoral, but it isn't illegal. If eBay has a spamming rule, then you should be able to get them to take action nevertheless.

ddadmin....you know what? I was JUST about to post a reply, then RE-READ their right-click pop-up, which says they will sell you the way to GET AROUND "disable right click" for five bucks, rather than selling the dynamic drive script that they have in there. So, while that is annoying (and considered selling "off eBay"), it is not really your problem. Still....some people's kids! They need real lives. :) Thanks!
