Flash MX 2004 Hyperlinks

Not sure if this is the right place for this question.

Does anyone know how to turn a flash mx file into a hyperlink

There are some flash files i've done on This Site (http://www.thebristolpropertycentre.co.uk) but I can't seem to get the hyperlinks to work correctly without them going automatically to the url that I've entered when the page opens.

Sorry if it's the wrong place to post this question, any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Implement the hyperlink into the flash file itself.

There's a tutorial on how to do this on www.flashkit.com .

Many Thanks, I've sorted it.

Is flash useable on all platforms?

Most of them. Macromedia provides various different versions of its plugin software.
However, Studio and other Flash creation suites are only for Windows.
(though I'd be happy to be proven wrong - anyone?)
The only non-Windows way to create Flash I know of is through the Ming libraries in a PHP shell script, which is clumsy and not exactly ideal for a Flash beginner like myself.

Well that's stupid. Windows is the only platform that can create flash files, but all platforms can view them...

Don't I know it... (Linux user)

Flash can run quite smoothly via WINE, if you get it set up correctly initially (it won't work out of the box).

Otherwise, I've yet to find a Linux alternative.
