Ok, the code you gave me works, on my system. But, I am having a problem with this code. It is supposed to be just a pop-up window, when you pass the mouse over something. Only problem, is when I pass my mouse of it, nothing happens. It comes up on my site as a link, and if you click on it, it takes you to my parent dir. My question is, how can I get it to pop up with my message on it, when you pass it over the picture. I got the code from a site called 'java corrall', and on their site, it works fine. Now, the only thing I can think of, is maybe it is the site that I am hosting the page, which is Geocities. This is the code I am speaking of;

Move mouse over this</A>

Any help will be greatly appericated.

That code should work, yes... but it would be flipping annoying.
Geocities might realise that and edit alert()'s out.

Would, but the code isn't up. I am wondering if there is any way to fix it, so that it dose what it is supposed to, instead of taking people to the parent dir. What it is supposed to do, when you pass the mouse over it, is to open this little box window, which will contain my message asking people not to take my pictures, and to close it, you have to click the Ok button, but it dosen't. The words, "Move mouse over this" show up, but when you pass the mouse over it, nothing happens, except it becomes a link to the parent dir.

I fully agree with my buddy cr3ative.... it would be to frustration for people to look at your site if every time they move the mouse a pop-up appears asking them to leave your stuff alone. The whole concept of a web pages is to get people to look at the site time and time again. So rather as stated previously show them a small pic and trademake the bigger one. Ok, so that idea has been scrapped. Thinks guys. You have been a great help. Next time I have peoblems, I'll know where to get the answers.

In the future, please avoid addressing a question to a particular member (in this case, Simonf). This is a public forum after all, and out of respect for others, I think this is a sensible policy. Either phrase your topic as a general question, or post a reply to the thread where you and Simonf originally discussed the issue.

Sorry, it was just that Simonf helped me with spicific problem, and his was the answer that worked. I thought he was one of the mods or something. I will deffently remember not to do that again.
