Helpful Information

Hi all

I really hope that you might be able to help. I downloaded Windows Media Palyer 10 two months ago and ever since then, when I listen to a CD (or want to rip a CD), the album information does not update. It remains an unkown artist singing an unknown song on an unknown album. Now before you all start, I know this could potentially be a country hit :D :cool: but it is proving to be a big pain in the @ss because it means I need to spend time searching for my songs on my WMP10.

I have tried everything from getting my cookies to allow all, to reinstalling Windows Media Player 10. The relevant boxes is ticked in my WMP10 privacy settings (allow automatic album update and display media information from the internet)etc...

I had the same problem of missing album info with Media Player 10 (the version shown in Help, About was 10.00.00.3646). Yesterday I downloaded Media Player 10 again from Microsoft.com and installed it. The new version is 10.00.00.3802. Now the album info works.
