Media Player Troubleshooting: Rebooting every time

I have a problem with MP 10. I copied all my CDs to DVDs and want to play the musics from the DVD. As I tried to include more musics to the DVD, i.e. I copied the content of the DVD to the HD, included some CDs to the Music Folder, and copied the new expanded selection to a new DVD. After I did that, everytime I try to use Media Player the computer reboots itself... strangely enough, Real Player has no problem to play the new DVD. And neither I had problems with Media Player before ...

Ah... Windows software.
1) Reinstall
2) Use something else
OR, if desperate,
3) Reinstall Windows.

I already tried the option 1
Now I'm using the option 2 (using Real Player)
Althrough I like to use Media Player over Real Player (more used with that software) I'm still not that desperate to try to reinstall windows...

But I'm very curious to know why Media Player doesn't work while Real Player works!?

if its just music you want, try either Apple's iTunes or the F/OSS alternative "Songbird"

Yes, Songbird (http://www.songbirdnest.com/) is reported to be good. There're also WinAmp and musikCube (http://www.musikcube.com/), an (less pretty) amaroK (http://amarok.kde.org/) clone.

hi there,
i think you have to know first what systems do you have on your player before we can make a fast resolution.
