Anyone know how to force Windows to not use the page file when there's plenty of RAM free?
I have 760MB free Memory and Windows still uses the Page File!!

Have you tried to clear your paging file when you shutdown your PC?
If you want to test that you can do it by editing the windows registry.
Steps
1. start registry editor
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
3. Check for an item ClearPageFileAtShutdown
4. Modify its value to 1.
After editing it restart your machine for applying the changes that you've made now.

Somewhere or other, probably in My Computer's properties, there's an option to set the page file size. If you've got sufficient memory to run everything you need to, you can safely set it to 0 (although you'll experience massive slowdowns if you exceed the RAM limit). I doubt that the use of the page file will have an effect on the speed of your system, though.

Twey mentioned the following settings in his postings:
1. Right-click on My Computer
2. Select Properties
3. Click on Advanced tab
4. Click on the first Settings button which is in the section Performance
5. Click on the Advanced tab
6. Click on Change button which is in the Virtual Memory section
7. In this dialog box you can change the page file size, you can use the size managed by the system or No Paging File.
If you want No Paging file then click on the No Paging File Radio button and click Set button.
8. Click 3 OK buttons to close all the dialog boxes you've opened.
But i think turning off paging file is not a good thing your system will become unstable frequently.

Don't forget that just because there's plenty of "physical" memory free at the time you check doesn't mean that there wasn't a moment in the past that forced the memory manager to kick data out into virtual memory. If there is space, the data will be reloaded if and when it's needed.
If you're worried about the page file taking too much space, you can adjust the maximum size, but be careful or you'll just force thrashing.
3. Check for an item ClearPageFileAtShutdown
That is a security measure. It doesn't shrink the page file, but overwrites its contents so that any sensitive data that might have been swapped out is not readable from the file.
