You can see the computer HERE (http://alienware.com/product_detail_pages/Area-51_ALX/area-51_gallery.aspx?SysCode=PC-AREA51-ALX-R6&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT#pdp-nav) the only difference in this one and the one I am going to order is mine will have red lights and cooling liquid, not blue. :D

That's a year's wages for some people o.@

I'd love that machine, but all that proprietary software would be useless to me. I wonder how much it is sans software.

Yeah.

A friend of mine was looking at a computer....
4 DVD burners (DL, fast, etc.)
3 TB space
4gb ram (8?)
3.5ghz dual processor (approx, can't remember)

Anyway, it was gonna be around $5000.

I have no idea why that's so expensive. I guess some of it is software, but, really, looks like a high price to me.

That's a year's wages for some people o.@

Or a lifetime's wages (at the rate I'm going :p)...

3 TB space
WoW!

Note that my friend decided to get it because it was a waste of money and he didn't need all that. Heh.

The base price on this model is $5000 something. But who can resist all those add ons? Liquid cooling? UPS, RAID 1?? I just want to say I have a 14K $ computer, LMAO

Not to mention the 30 inch monitor with HD compatability, and you did notice the DUAL video cards? They need a 1000 watt power supply just for them! Halo online will be so cool!!! ROTF

How fast is your internet connection? Ha. Halo... hmm.... I guess the graphics aren't sent through the net. Might work. That would be amusing though, if you only had dialup or something.

Well... enjoy.

I have my T3 fibre optic line now WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE fast.

I could try to connect to AOL I suppose :D

Of course if I do win the lottery the computer would be the LAST thing I buy... but I would buy it.

I also designed an alienware laptop as well, it was a much better deal and came in at just under $9000 ROTF :D
