Improve entire VB site with CloudFlare

This is small lesson is dedicated to all vb users...

Introduction:

The main purpose of this lesson is to achieve the max performance, page load quality and high speed page response for any vb board. The lessons consists of two parts:

1- Comressing vb images to small size with high qualitythrough these sites:

- Compress PNG images with the Force of an Elephant (http://compresspng.com/)
- Compress JPEG images with the Force of an Elephant (http://compressjpg.com/)


Note: if your site contains a lot of .gif images, you can use:


- kraken (http://kraken.io/)


- if you are not happy with your jpg compression, here is another site to compress them Jpeg Mini (http://www.jpegmini.com)

2- Installing vb on CloudFlare https://www.cloudflare.com/overview

Intro. about CloudeFlare:
CloudFlare protects and accelerates any website online. Once your website is a part of the CloudFlare community, its web traffic is routed through our intelligent global network. We automatically optimize the delivery of your web pages so your visitors get the fastest page load times and best performance. Installation:
1- first of all, you need to compress all your images on your vb site and then upload them back to your vb. Make sure to take a copy of your images before doing anything since some image compress doesn't let your to modify your image after high level of compression.

2- open a new free account at Cloudflare sign-up (https://www.cloudflare.com/sign-up) and submit your application after filling up all required info.

3- you can add your site to CloudFlare and activate your connection with it.

4- make sure that Rocket Loader option is disabled since it causes some issues to java-script...

5- you can test the speed of your site and you are done!


Uninstallation:
all you need is deactivate your CloudFlare from your account at their site and that usually takes few minuets to an hour at max, and that's it.
