Simple EU Cookie Law MOD

Works also on vBulletin 3.8.X and 4.X.X (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=284819)
Thanks to simonhind (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/member.php?u=184382) and Stefan118 (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/member.php?u=414463)

1) Create Template with this code e.g cookie_law
2) Create a hook : in Header_head
Template Name : cookie_law

Code:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/eu-cookie/main.css"/>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/eu-cookie/support-opt-in.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/eu-cookie/require-opt-in.js" read_more="http://www.your-site.com/privacy-policy"></script>

http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/images/content/cookie-step_1a.png http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/images/content/cookie-step_2a.png

Another way is:
Download the files, rename the code, and put them on your server.

For more information see:

Changelog:

V.1.10 Fixed *.png problem

Changelog:

V.1.10 Fixed *.png problem

Suggestion :

1) Create Template with this code e.g cookie_law
2) create a hook : in Header_head
Template Name : cookie_law

then there is no need to edit the template

with VB5 alot of use will be aiming towards using template hooks to do all the tasks for use

Thanks Simon, for your explanation :)

Thanks Simon, for your explanation :)

for your next release i hope that you implement this yourself :)

Ofcourse ;)

Wouldn't it be better to upload the .js files on our server, and link to them that way?

Yes, that's possible, and don't forget to change the names of the code ;)

Update: zip file added
