linux email encryption

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew of some good encryption options for email on red-hat linux. I would like something I can call from a perl script that will encrypt some credit card information and then let me read it into mailto. The flip side of this is that it must have an easy to use decrypter client for windows. Ohh and if it could be cheap that would be good too. The only option I've found so far has been pgp command line from Network Associates, and it is very difficult to buy from them. (look at their website, ughh) Hope you guys can help!

OK, first of all, PGP is Free! http://www.devshed.com/Talk/Forums/smile.gif You only have to pay when your using it for commercial blabla. Otherwise try GNUPG (http://www.gnupg.org/). There are some good email encryption programs which can be integrated with clients, which makes them easier to use. You can find some a freshmeat(www.freshmeat.net).

Good Luck!
