Reinstalling Win98 on Dual booting box

I have a box with redhat and Win98 installed. Windows is acting more buggy than normal and I want to reinstall but I have heard that you cannot because windows will overwrite the boot sector and then i cannot boot to Linux. Is there a way to get around this problem?

If you have or create a bootble floppy/cd so that you can boot into Linux, you can install Win98 and let it write to the MBR. Then use the Linux floppy/cd to boot Linux and reinstall LILO so that it overwrites the MBR.

Or you can use some other boot manager to choose between Win98 and Linux when you boot your pc.

Check out the Acronis (http://www.acronis.com) boot manager. Their demo is functional enough for most stituations. Although Grub is extremely nice and comes with RHL 7.2.
