Fireworks Tutorial

Hi Everyone, Because you have to be a Seinor Coder to post in the tutorial category, I posted it here, It does'nt fit into any other category so, here's the link:

http://www.freewebs.com/onionhouseproductions/Frieworksprt1.htm

It may take a while to load (its a flash doc -- 5MB) Depending on how fast your internet connection is.

NOTE: YES I MISS-SPELLED WORDS (I typed to fast: "Frieworks") AND SOME OTHER THINGS IN THE TUTORIAL, please do not tell me this, I know.

Please comment about it here, and don't email me like it says at the end.

:):):):):)
Thanks,

Thanks for posting. I've moved it to the tutorials section-- no reason it can't be there (though you can't yet start it there). :)

For those wondering, you can do this in Photoshop and Flash pretty much the same way as well.

I didn't know we could post graphics tutorials... I thought it was "coding" tutorials only. If anyone is interested in a unique text style graphics tutorial, I suppose I could post one.

I assumed ddadmin meant "Coding Tips" & "Tutorials" and not "Coding Tips & Coding Tutorials"

Anyways, feel free to post your graphic tutorials :)

I tried a screen capture approach to my tutorial last night, but wow... It wound up being 1.6gigs!!! Anybody know how to make it smaller, but keep enough quality you can tell what's going on?

Use any reasonable* movie editor. Export to animated GIF, APNG, SWF, etc. Try Motion JPEG instead of a higher-wuality representation. Lower the JPEG quality a little. Most that won't let you do that have a 'Compress Movie' option.
*...Any. Flash, Windows Movie Maker, Easy GIF Animator, Firefox's APNG editor plugin, etc.
