Thanks in advance for the help

er.... application? how big? or web object?
Hi djr33
I am looking for medium to medium-large java projects. Need not be a web project.
Java is the language of choice for many application developers... y'know... programs.
Is this just a trial?
Duplicate notepad. That's a good challenge. Then add some fun features.... bold, italics, etc.
Heck, make a browser :p
duplicate Gel too :p
Well, my first "project" on learning a new language is always to build an IRC bot in it. IRC is a nice simple protocol, and it's just like "Hello World" for those a little more advanced :)
One of many projects I have unfinished is an attempt to do something similar to Microsoft's Monad shell, which passes .NET objects back and forth instead of textual data, for *n?x. This requires rewriting some of the basic command-line programs like ls or writing filters for them. Should be a large, interesting, but not-too-difficult exercise in serialisation, process control, and stream operation.
try writing a simple game its not that hard a stick man and you got to get him through the doer
Pong!!
Heck, make a browser :p
I Concur, Then We Can Finally have A browser That Follows All The Standards!
But it Would Require Quite A bit of Knowledge on how dtds are interpreted, and also following css, JS, (x)html as they evolve and updating the browser.
would be good for a community project for DD, far too big for one person, no matter how epic that person may be.
Could be fun. I'd go for it.
Indeed :)
i wana learn java and i have already started java programming but i looks difficult to learn.i also know Delphi but java looks more difficult then delphi :) .who has any advice for me. Which editor is the best for java programming.I now use JCreator.ther must be a better one...

I'm generally not one to advocate huge IDEs, but Eclipse is very nice.
Make a top-down fantasy RPG game, like Zelda. Great practice for any object-based programming language. (And no, I don't just want another Zelda game, I'm just saying that it's excellent practice for a coder. Which it is.)
Well, Im i need of some developers for neural networks, Or even chat bots
