Printing in Javascript

Does anybody know how to use js to open the Print window as if I pressed Ctrl-P or went to file->Print...?

Instead of using window.print()

Thanks,

Kelvin

Could you please provide some more information? window.print() is pretty much the only way to print through JavaScript. Why not use it?

Using window.print will only work in NS4.x and IE5+. A crossbrowser solution: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex11/other1.htm

And yes that is the only way you are going to open someones print box.

Does anyone know how to control the scaling for a print job using JavaScript?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

How weird. My site uses this. Check out http://www.sitesuwant.com. I have a solution for printing a printer friendly document. Just check it out and if you need the code, email me or if you can find it, check it out in the source.
