Somebody knowes a good PERL site?

I just changed job and had to migrate from php to Perl. To my surprise, there is not much quality perl sites. The official site is ok but not much developer input. And there is not a site that have the easy searchable online maual like PHP do. (like www.php.net) (http://www.php.net))

I just wonder whether is because perl is losing steam, or I just don't know the sites to turn to? Could somebody point me to the right place?

You don't need online manual, just run "perldoc -f chmod" for example. "man perldoc" to find out more.

Here is a few Script collection site you can download and play with it: http://www.scriptsearch.com/ http://www.hotscripts.com/ http://www.icthus.net/CGI-City/

No. Perl can do anything PHP can do but not the other way around. Perl is more functional than PHP. PHP often install as a module instead of CGI, therefore Perl is more secure with cgiwrap or SuExec.

Try http://www.perldoc.com
This site provides all Standard Perl Documentation and CPAN modules. And it's searhable too.
